As Japan’s Area Coordinator, JOCA provides information to domestic paddlers and clubs, conducts athlete selection, and coordinates participation for this event.
Athletes and crews representing Japan will be expected to compete as representatives of the country.

This championship is held every two years, alternating between Sprint and Long Distance events.
This year, the Sprint Championship will be held in Singapore, while last year’s Long Distance Championship was held in Brazil.
Host venues are selected from bids submitted by member countries and regions, and are approved by IVF.

During the championship period, JOCA staff plan to provide on-site support.
In addition, JOCA is also considering offering partial financial support where possible.

Please note that Singapore has very strict regulations regarding drugs and medications.
Prescription medicines and even some over-the-counter medicines may require prior confirmation or approval.
If you plan to travel to Singapore, please be sure to check the latest official information in advance.

If you wish to participate, please contact JOCA with your intended category, team composition, and representative contact details.
Some clubs and athletes may still be in the process of coordinating their participation, but if you are considering entering, please feel free to contact JOCA at any time. We are also happy to answer any questions regarding the event in more detail.

We look forward to hearing from paddlers who are ready to take on the world as part of Team Japan.
