On Sunday, August 9, we held the 2026 JOCA Outrigger Canoe Experience at Zushi Beach.
Thank you to everyone who joined us despite the intense summer heat.
The event was completed safely without any major accidents or problems, and the beach was filled with smiles and cheers from first-time outrigger canoe paddlers, families, and friends enjoying the experience together.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated and supported the event.
JOCA will continue to create opportunities for more people to discover the joy of outrigger canoeing and the special experience of paddling out to sea together.

Cancellation Notice
In the event of cancellation, an announcement will be posted on the JOCA website at 6:00 a.m. on the day of the event.
Please note that the event may also be suspended or cancelled after it has started due to sudden changes in weather or sea conditions.
Participation Eligibility
Anyone may participate except pregnant individuals and infants. However, depending on the conditions on the day, preschool-age children may not be permitted to participate.
We will not allow anyone who has been consuming alcohol or who appears to be intoxicated to participate in the event, even if you have paid for your experience and signed the consent form.

The personal information provided through this registration will only be used for purposes related to the operation and management of this canoe experience event.
Photos and videos taken during the event may be used in brochures, posters, websites, and other materials produced by the Association, as well as for other public relations activities, for the purpose of promoting and supporting the healthy growth and development of outrigger canoe activities.
Newspapers, television stations, and other media organizations may cover the event. We appreciate your cooperation in the event of media interviews or filming.
Extremely hot weather is expected. Please take appropriate precautions against heatstroke and participate only when you are in good physical condition. Participation while under the influence of alcohol is not permitted.
